The client’s washer smelled really bad and they had no idea why. The client contacted us to find out what the problem was. We smelled a strong odor emanating from the LG Washing Machine WM3770HVA when we got there, and we went inside to investigate. The rubber gasket appeared to be accumulating mold. Typically, this area collects dirt and oils from clothing. Therefore, the washer tub was extremely smelly. The gasket was thoroughly cleaned with soap and water, and the stench was gone! We conducted a test cycle to ensure that the odour had been eliminated throughout the whole unit. They were grateful for the washer repair to be able to wash their clothes with their WM3770HVA washer without having to plug their noses.
